About Me

It’s apropos that the task of writing about myself falls upon my own shoulders as I am the one to know myself best. But to say that I know myself would be ignorant, if not arrogant, as I am constantly learning and growing. I began creating at a young age. I would build things in elementary school that impressed my teachers and parents. It was not until my teens that I discovered my love for creating art. Like most artists I began drawing. I have tried and failed at pottery; I am too clumsy. I soon found acrylics and oils to be fun, they still are! As I grew as an artist, I also grew as a student. I earned my Associates of Arts degree at Daytona State College. I have also separately attended the Université de Reims, where I studied French, and gained a passion for beautiful art. In my early twenties, I succeeded in completing certification as an Architectural and Mechanical draftsman. As life progressed and the overwhelming number of paints and canvases I own has continued to grow, I decided to attempt watercolors. I found them to be just as fun as oils and acrylics. As I have gotten older, maybe a little wiser, and a little improved, I have focused more on creating art. Browse through my store and portfolio, and there you’ll find a journey of years. Enjoy!
